Laura Trend

Laura Trend is a 19-year-old, pre-professional concert dancer. They are a Canadian citizen who grew up in Houston, TX. They currently attend Boston Conservatory at Berklee in Boston, MA, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance.

Laura started dancing as a child, and completed her high school pre-professional training at Texas Academy of Dance Arts in The Woodlands, Texas. They have had training in multiple techniques of classical ballet, primarily RAD; they achieved an 81 on their Advanced 1 exam. Laura has also had quality contemporary and modern training, both through high school and at Boston Conservatory. She has had Límon and Límon- inspired training, some Horton training, and some floor-work and counter-technique training.

Additionally, Laura has experience through high school working as backstage crew for musicals, dance shows, and plays. She is working on improving her vocal abilities and quality. To expand her creative palette outside of the theatrical world, Laura also enjoys photographer, and is an amateur photo and video editor.
